# Surf Score

We’re excited to introduce Surf Score, SurfLayer’s native on-chain identity badge that represents your activity, credibility, and contribution across supported networks.

Surf Score allows users to build a verifiable on-chain reputation, enabling projects and ecosystems to reward genuine engagement — not bots.

## How Surf Score Works

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**Connect Your Wallet:**

Start by connecting your wallet to the official[ SurfLayer website](https://surflayer.xyz) and visit the Surf Score page.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Select a Supported Network:**

A list of available networks will be displayed. Choose your preferred chain.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Generate Your Score:**

Click “Get Score” — SurfLayer will automatically scan your wallet’s on-chain activity and analyze it based on 15 unique scoring criteria, including interaction frequency, transaction diversity, and ecosystem participation.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Mint Your On-Chain Badge:**

Once your score is generated, an on-chain Surf Score Badge will be ready to mint — representing your verified presence on that blockchain.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

## SurfScore Achievement Rewards

Your journey of building on-chain identity through SurfScore is always recognized.\
Below are the achievement rewards you can unlock by reaching specific score milestones:

## Why You Should Mint Surf Score

### **Prove Your On-Chain Identity**

Surf Score helps validate your presence as a genuine, value-creating user — not a bot or inactive wallet.\
Projects and ecosystems often struggle to identify real contributors when distributing rewards.\
Surf Score solves this by providing verifiable user reputation based on real on-chain actions, ensuring that rewards reach true community members.

### **Earn Recognition & Rewards**

Surf Score plays a key role in SurfLayer’s reward and incentive programs.

* It may be used as a qualification metric for ecosystem airdrops or SurfLayer-funded campaigns.
* Higher scores may unlock exclusive access, bonuses, or partnership rewards.

SurfLayer continuously collaborates with Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems to distribute grant-based rewards back to verified users through the Surf Score system.

#### Key Features & Notes

**Soulbound Identity:**

* Surf Score is non-transferable — permanently tied to your wallet as proof of your activity and contribution.

**Multi-Chain Support:**

* Each supported network has its own independent SurfScore. You can mint multiple badges across chains.

**Authenticity Matters:**

* Only genuine, verifiable on-chain actions are counted. Artificial or spam activity will be filtered out.

**User-Controlled Updates:**

* Updating your score is optional — you decide when to refresh it based on your latest activity.

## In Summary

Surf Score is more than just a number — It’s your on-chain passport, proof of contribution, and gateway to SurfLayer’s upcoming rewards and ecosystem incentives.

Start building your verified on-chain identity today.
