# Sync Your Surf Pegu

Enable the SP Multiplier for all your activities on SurfLayer by following these simple steps:

Before you start, make sure you have minted your Surf Pegu NFT and connected your wallet here:

Steps to Activate:

**Step 1:** Go to [your Profile](https://surflayer.xyz/identity) and click “Sync Pegu” to begin.

**Step 2:** Click Approve.

**Step 3:** Approve and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

**Note:** You will need to sign two transactions.

**Step 4:** Once activated, your NFT will be locked for 7 days to prevent abuse of the multiplier privilege.

After 7 days, you may transfer your NFT, but doing so will remove the multiplier benefit, and you will need to activate it again with the new wallet.
